The 15SW2000-4 loudspeaker has a specially designed forced air ventilation system to ensure proper cooling for long hard play. Our specially designed rigid cast aluminum frame features side forced cooling system openings which allows airflow to cool the voice coil to handle up to 1000 watts RMS without issue. Spring-loaded push terminals make installation a snap while offering a secure connection to your speaker wires.
The cone, constructed of thick paper for a natural response, includes glass fiber reinforcement and uses a ribbed design offering additional structural support. The woven surround offer precise movement along its impressive 12.5 mm XMAX. The upgraded and advanced voice coil and cone material along with its ability to reproduce extremely low frequencies will ensure this is your subwoofer of choice to replace your existing drivers.
Supporting the cone is a double silicone spider with optimized compliance and triple roll treated cloth surround, both designed for high excursion applications to handle short bursts of excessive power without damage.
To stand up to the use and abuse of the professional sound environment we designed a 4″ spit copper voice coil that is wound inside-outside on a fiberglass former and features a generous 31 mm winding length for extended Xmax and less distortion.
